Honeywell Center Announces Five New Shows

WABASH - Five new shows were recently added to the Honeywell Center's 2010 concert bill.

Tickets for Phillips, Craig and Dean, the Canadian Mist Bob and Tom Comedy All-Stars Tour, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Church Basement Ladies, and the Golden Dragon Acrobats from China go on sale Friday at 8 a.m.

WBCL welcomes musicians and full-time pastors Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig and Dan Dean.

Since the formation of their group 18 years ago, this successful trio has released 10 albums producing 16 No. 1 hits, and have been nominated for nine Dove Awards. Guests will experience their uplifting message of perseverance when the group takes center stage Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is sponsored by Halderman Farm Management Service and Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service. Tickets are $12, $18, $24 and $50.

On Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m., the Canadian Mist Bob and Tom Comedy All-Stars Tour makes its way to Wabash.

The show, which includes some mature content, will feature Bob and Tom star Chick McGee and regular guests Bob Zany, Greg Warren, Greg Hahn and Donnie Baker. Tickets will be $15, $33 and $50.

Mary Wilson recorded 12 No. 1 hits as a member of the popular '60s trio The Supremes. The hits included "Baby Love," "Come See About Me," "Stop In the Name of Love" and "Back in My Arms Again." 105.9 The Bash will welcome Mary Wilson as she presents those hits March 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20, $34, $44 and $75.

WBCL welcomes The Church Basement Ladies, a musical comedy full of wacky acting and charming tunes that will have you rolling with laughter. This celebration of the church basement kitchen and the women who work there will entertain during two performances on April 22 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $12, $18 and $25.

Representing a performing art form that began more than 25 centuries ago, The Golden Dragon Acrobats from China are recognized internationally as a premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company. The 27-member troupe from Hebei, China, have performed numerous sold-out shows while performing in all 48 lower U.S. states.

The acrobats will perform May 16 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $14 for the balcony, and $20 for the main floor.
