WABASH - The Honeywell Center's Clark Gallery has started hosting a themed rotating art competition, beginning this year, with the current exhibit featuring black and white artwork.
Any medium (including photography, painting, drawing, computer art or sculpture) was acceptable for submission in mid-July. Ninety-six out of 185 pieces were chosen for display."It was quite remarkable to get that many entries for a first-time art competition," said Clark Gallery Coordinator Andrea Zwiebel. "We are very excited about this exhibit and other art competitions to come."
The grand-prize winner of the Rotating Art Competition is Kosciusko County resident Robert Hudson for his pencil drawing titled "April."
This exhibit is available for viewing Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, there will be a reception open to the public Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. to honor the artists. If you are interested in attending, RSVP at 260-563-1102, Ext. 501, or at az@honeywellcenter.org
