WABASH – The Honeywell Center’s Clark Gallery has announced its upcoming Far, Far Away exhibit will feature imagery taken from every continent, and will be on display now through June 2. The exhibit is sponsored by Beauchamp McSpadden Insurance. Artwork for the Far, Far Away exhibit will be provided by three local artists. Bob Beauchamp has studied under DePauw University’s Richard E. Peeler and National Geographic photographer, Ralph Lee Hopkins. Beauchamp has traveled to all seven continents photographing landscapes, animals and historic areas. His work will include photographs printed on canvas of the South Georgia Island area and the Antarctic Peninsula. James R.C. Adams went to his first art exhibit in Philadelphia at the age of 16. He was drawn to the works of Edward Hopper, Ivan Albright, Georgia O’Keefe, Salvador Dali and others. As a student, Adams realized his own work had two different approaches, one being a faithful representation of what he saw, the other being an interpretation of what he saw. Adams’ work will include oil paintings of Africa, Europe and Latin America. Lindsay Clark spent seven months and her life savings exploring 24 countries on three continents after graduating from Indiana University’s Henry Radford College of the Arts. In 2009 she beat out 700 applicants to win the World Traveler Internship from STA Travel, spending more than two months extensively traveling for a marketing campaign. She is currently the media specialist/instructor at THINK Global School, the world’s first global, mobile high school which is spending its academic year traveling through Argentina, Bhutan and the United States. Clark’s contribution to the exhibit will be a multimedia photo display from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America.
