Woodfield Manor is again the site of the annual Homes on Parade.

Twelve homes have been added to the subdivision, which was the featured site last year as well. Woodfield Manor is located on the south side of Warsaw just north of CR 225S on CR 75E. It is adjacent to Country Garden Estate.

This is the largest number of homes built at a Parade site since 11 were built for the 1993 edition of the event at Brookshire Village. The first Parade took place in 1986 in the Country Club addition.

This year's Parade locale features more than 20 acres of exclusive, restricted homes sites, with 31 lots (ranging in size from 1.50 to .35 acres) available.

The 1996 Homes on Parade is sponsored by the Builders Association of Kosciusko County, and unofficially opens tonight with the annual VIP Night. While tonight's festivities are open to the general public for the first time, the Parade is actually set to begin Saturday. The homes will be open to the public each day until 8 p.m. Hours begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Admission is $4 for ages 13 and older, $1 for ages 6 through 12, and free for those under age 6.

Visitors to the Parade will enter through a merchants' tent, where about 14 businesses will have displays. Tickets will be taken and/or sold at this location.

Booklets to guide visitors through Parade homes will be provided. Each home will be featured with drawings and floor plans detailed, as well as information about each of the builders.

Builders of this year's Parade homes are: Porter Construction, Pierceton; T.L. Jackson, Syracuse; Legacy Homes Inc., Warsaw; Willie's Construction Inc., Warsaw; Coplen Construction, Warsaw; Tom Brovont, builder and developer, Rochester; Classic Builders, Syracuse; Swartz Brothers Construction, Syracuse; Freeman Builders, Warsaw; and D.A. Melching & Associates, Warsaw.

Prices for the Parade homes begin at $165,000. Six of the homes were sold before building began; three have since sold; and three remain for sale.
