NORTH MANCHESTER – Sidney Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire Monday morning in North Manchester. The call came in at 11:20 a.m. of a home on fire at Lot 48 in the Meadow Acres Trailer Court on Ind. 13. Fire crews were on scene for nearly five hours, but the home was a total loss. The Kosciusko County chapter of the American Red Cross is providing the family of four with housing assistance. Damage was also sustained to a vacant adjacent home, but was minimal and limited to the exterior of the home. Squad 70 Fire Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the blaze. A full assist was provided by Chester Township Fire Department and support from North Manchester Fire.
