Holcomb Inducted Into Indiana Junior All-State BandWarsaw Community Schools announced Jessica Holcomb, a seventh-grade student at Edgewood Middle School, has been accepted into the Indiana Junior All-State Band as first alternate. Holcomb is one of six oboists in the state selected to this 100-member band. All seventh- through ninth-grade students in Indiana were given the opportunity to make a recording of selected musical excerpts demonstrating their technical and lyrical playing. These recordings were then sent to the state level for evaluation. "I am very proud of Jessica. Her hard work and determination has been an inspiration for others. She will represent Edgewood and our community with pride,” said Joseph Peloza, director of bands at Lakeview and Edgewood middle schools.
