WABASH - Hilda Marie Camp, 85, of Wabash, died at 8:50 p.m. June 30, 2008, in Wabash Skilled Care Center, Wabash.
She was born Dec. 30, 1922, in Wabash, to Hoyt and Marie Long Summerland. On Jan. 23, 1942, in Noblesville, she married Paul Camp, who died Feb. 1, 2001.
She was a Chippewa High School graduate and a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to ball games, garage sales and going out to eat.
Surviving are three daughters: Becky (and spouse Ed) Shear, Wabash; Marie (and spouse William) Rose, Silver Lake; and Joey (and spouse Terry) Copeland, Wabash; five grandchildren: Thomas (and spouse Penny) Rose and Wendi (and spouse Richard) Best, all of Warsaw; Deb (and spouse Steve) Conner and Todd (and spouse Angel) Shear, both of Lagro; and Tammy (and spouse Randy) Keaffaber, Wabash; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Chad Keaffaber, three brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Pastor Rick Borgman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
