I see a big article in the paper about the I-69 project.
For most people, it's probably going right over their head. "Oh, isn't that nice our overseers are going to fix up the highway?" What they're not telling you is this is just another piece of the transnational Mexico to Canada Highway they're trying to hammer through. People from Michigan to southern Texas are fighting this monstrosity tooth and nail. Beware when most politicians are for something. It means you're about to get raped.
But you better start moving fast. When completed, this will bring hundreds of Mexican trucks across the United States every day. You can buy a truck license in Mexico without any formal training. The trucks are ill-maintained, and already have been the result of terrible accidents on the highway.
Since almost any project the government endorses is lacking proper supervision, illegal aliens, drugs, weapons and terrorists will use I-69. If you ask your politicians about it, they will lie. And many don't even realize the ramifications. They're too busy out raising funds for the next election. Stop it now or in the next few years you will live to regret it.
Can you really trust politicians that would sell your highways to foreign corporations? With friends like these, who needs enemies! If you're a U.S. trucker, you're going to be screwed if this goes through.
