Warsaw Boys Beat Northridge In Regular Season Finale

MIDDLEBURY – Warsaw closed out its boys soccer regular season Thursday night with a 3-1 Northern Lakes Conference win at Northridge.

Garrett Reinholt opened the scoring for Warsaw  with a pair of goals off assists by Eric Ocock. Blake Burns assisted Ocock for the third goal.

The Tigers finished at 4-3 in the conference and take a 10-5-2 mark into Monday’s 3A Warsaw Sectional, when the Tigers host Fort Wayne South.



Lady Cougars Win


GOSHEN – Anna Reimink scored twice, with Tori Calizo and Jess Slone adding a goal each for Lakeland Christian in its 4-1 non-conference girls soccer win over the Goshen junior varsity Thursday.

The Lady Cougars completed their regular season with a 7-5 record. They will open play in the 1A Bethany Christian Sectional Tuesday, taking on Lakewood Park Christian.



Lady Warriors Fall

NAPPANEE – NorthWood scored a pair of goals in each half in its 4-0 Northern Lakes Conference girls soccer win over Wawasee in the regular season finale for the Lady Warriors.

Graceanne Kerlin had a dozen saves for the Lady Warriors.

The two teams will face off again in the semifinals of the 2A Lakeland Sectional Oct. 5.



Plymouth Edges Wawasee In Finale

SYRACUSE – Ralphy Cox scored in the first half off an assist from Chris Pena for Wawasee in its 2-1 Northern Lakes Conference boys soccer loss to visiting Plymouth Thursday night.

The Pilgrims earned a 4-0 win in the junior varsity match over the Warriors.

The Warrior varsity will take a 5-7-3 record into the 2A Wawasee Sectional, where they will play Lakeland at 5 p.m. Monday.
