PLYMOUTH — The Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team kept its good start going Thursday at Plymouth, winning 50-38. Holding the Plymouth Lady Pilgrims to 19 points over the first three quarters, the Lady Vikings are off to a 4-1 start, their best since the 2003-04 season when they began 12-0. In their latest win, senior Staci Groom scored 29 points to go with four rebounds and two steals. Also for Valley, senior Tory Keirn posted seven points and five assists, while sophomore Kelsey Ball finished with seven points and five rebounds. BOYS SWIMMING Thursday in Nappanee The Warsaw boys swim team opened its season with a 130-50 Northern Lakes Conference victory at NorthWood High School. In the meet, the Warsaw Tigers won 10 of the 12 events, including all three relays. In the relay action, Warsaw’s foursome of Jayden Parrett, Spencer Davidson, Caleb Snyder and J.D.
