BOURBON — The Triton football team closed its regular season out with a 53-0 home loss to the Jimtown Jimmies Friday in Bourbon. To illustrate the size difference between the Triton Trojans and Northern State Conference powerhouse Jimtown, the home team ran for just 19 yards, while the Jimmies racked up 382 rushing yards. In the loss, Huntley Davis did get 42 rushing yards on just three attempts, while senior quarterback Zak Shively completed 11 of 22 pass attempts for 70 yards. Friday in North Manchester Hosting the Northfield Norsemen in the final regular season game of the year, the Manchester football team fell 26-7 Friday night. The loss prevented Manchester from riding a three-game winning streak going into this Friday’s sectional home game against Wabash. Manchester and Wabash just met on Oct. 7 in North Manchester, with the Squires winning 51-34.
