Editor, Times-Union: I can’t believe I’m chiming in on this, but I read a submission on Friday, the 20th, from Obama supporter, Terry Bartley, who wrote a rebuttal to Romney supporter Larry Sexton.
I do not know either of these men, personally, but I was struck by Mr. Bartley’s contradiction. He started by saying that he was going to take the “high road” and refrain from name calling. Then, with the most condescending, verbiage I have ever heard, he proceeded to portray Mr. Sexton as a sick, mentally deranged, angry, hateful, childish, drunken, lying, racist, druggie. If, indeed, that is Mr. Bartley’s “high road,” as he says, then it might well explain his political lean.
