Editor, Times-Union: Mr. Obama claims he can’t do anything about high gas prices. I think you can do something.
The American people own trillions of dollars worth of oil and gas on our public lands. If the (government) American people would build refineries and oil rigs and Gas stations and start drilling for oil and gas on our public lands and “not” put this oil and gas into the world markets, to get the highest prices, like the world oil companies do, because they are greedy. The government could sell this oil and gas back to the American people at $1.50 per gallon and pay off our national debt. Also, fix our roads and bridges.
They could also hire millions of people who don’t have jobs, to work drilling this oil and gas including military people coming home.
So why is Obama setting on his lazy asset? Get it done!
