Hicks Named To IACT Executive Committee

WINONA LAKE - Clerk-Treasurer Retha Hicks has been appointed to a seat on the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns Executive Committee and was named chairman of IACT's Site Selection Committee, according to Marilyn Morrison, IACT president and clerk-treasurer of Warren.

The site selection committee will have several meetings this year to determine the host communities for the next four or five years of IACT's annual conference. The 2002 IACT Annual Conference already has been scheduled and will meet in Indianapolis in September.

IACT is a nonprofit association and the largest organization representing municipal government in the state, which includes all 117 Hoosier cities and 363 towns.
