WABASH - 105.9 The Bash and Mi Tunes 101.9 will welcome Herman's Hermits, starring Peter Noone, as they take center stage at the Honeywell Center in Wabash Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
After forming in Manchester, England, in 1963, Herman's Hermits went straight to work on their music and were soon celebrating success. Their first hit "I'm Into Something Good" reached No. 1 in the UK and No. 13 in the U.S. in 1964. Their future successes would culminate solely in the United States with songs like "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am."Ultimately, Herman's Hermits would go on to sell more than 60 million recordings, have 14 singles and seven albums go gold, and score 20 Top 40 hits including "There's a Kind of Hush," "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat?" and "No Milk Today." The group consistently plays to sold-out venues the world over, and has a legion of faithful fans known as "Noonatics".
