Leesburg-area farmers joined forces last week to help out the family of fellow farmer John Stookey, who died March 10. Using their own equipment, farmers from Bishop Farms, Tom Farms, Dippon Farms, Larry Polk and Clunette Elevator worked the ground, drilled beans and planted corn on approximately 200 acres. The work took a couple of days. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
