NORTH MANCHESTER - Helen M. Ross, 94, of Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester, died at 10:20 a.m. Oct. 17, 2007, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 25, 1913, in Moultrie County, Ill., to Amos R. and Elizabeth Wagoner Eikenberry. On June 21, 1936, she married Keith E. Ross, who died Oct. 20, 1994.
She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren and graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, in 1931, and Manchester College in 1935.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Margaret Ann) Pletcher, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester, with Chaplain Joan Deeter officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
