MENTONE – Helen M. Good, 82, Mentone, died at 2:58 p.m. Feb. 8, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 10, 1933, in Rochester, to Harley and Wiladine Shively Beck. On Aug. 22, 1953, in Rochester, she married Joseph C. Good, who survives in Mentone. She was a 46-year Avon salesperson. She was a 1951 graduate of Rochester High School; member of the Mentone United Methodist Church; and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, which was with Mentone that joined the Warsaw chapter. With her occupation, she enjoyed visiting with many people. Also surviving are two daughters, Sandra (and spouse Marvin) Book, Columbus, Ind., and Janice (and spouse Fred) Pfeiffer, Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Emily Kern, Corydon, and Neil Book, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Katherine Hisey. Following her wishes, no visitation or services will be held at this time. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
