PIERCETON – Helen “Jean” Krantz, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 9:04 a.m. Dec. 1, 2015, in her residence.
She was born June 7, 1931, in Burr Oak, to Clarence and Violet Harlan Scoby.
She had lived in Kosciusko County since she was 15 years old.
She worked for Big Boy Products for 31 years, DaLite Screen for two years and Sun Metal for two years. She love riding and training horses, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Darlene Menzie, Pierceton; five grandchildren: Tracy (and spouse Hoss) Kennedy, Urbana; Trina (and spouse Donavan) Davis, Tulsa, Okla.; Max Menzie Jr., Warsaw; Shane (and spouse Jody) Menzie, Pierceton; Stacy (and spouse Keith) Patches, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Allan (and spouse Wanda) Anders and Jerry Anders, all of Pierceton; a sister, Anita (and spouse Eddie) Krebs, Warsaw; 10 great-grandchildren: Arie, Kade, Kyra Kennedy, Whitney Menzie, Tyler and Tiara Menzie, Evan Taylor, Nolan Menzie, Dylan and Keeli Patches; and a great-great-grandchild, Gabe. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Rick Robinson, Rex Menzie and Max Menzie Sr.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, at a later date.
Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
