NORTH MANCHESTER – Helen C. Boyer, 84, of North Manchester, died at 6:45 a.m. July 10, 2013, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Monticello, Ill., to Joseph and Lena McLaughlin Chalk. On May 14, 1949, she married Robert E. Boyer, who died Oct. 8, 1991. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1947 and was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, North Manchester. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca (and spouse Alex) Constantopoulos, Dumfries, Va.; a brother, Harry (and spouse Lavonne) Chalk, Columbia City; a sister, Patricia Martin, Carmel; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester, with Father Andrew Curry officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
