Heating Bills

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

I don't understand how NIPSCO expects people on a limited income to pay their gas bill or why they charge so much every month.

My bill this month was more than $400 and can't get Project Safe because they already took care of my January bill. So now I have to choose between having a place to live and buying food or paying my utility bill.

I believe NIPSCO overcharges people every time they read your meter and they don't care about the disabled or low-income people. By the way, we do get food stamps but it is not enough to live on.
