Hearts Of Gold

Posted

Kosciusko County Foundation conducted its annual Heart of Gold Awards program Tuesday evening at Center Lake Pavilion. Heart of Gold recipients are recognized by the foundation as 'citizens who touch the hearts of others' through community service or volunteer work. The award is designed to promote philanthropy and recognize good deeds. Sixty-five county residents were honored. Each recipient received a share of $8,000 provided by the foundation. The money comes in the form of a grant which the recipient designates to a favorite charity. Pictured above are 10 of the recipients who were deemed 'Special Award Winners' by the foundation.
