Let me touch on this Health legistation, why all the rush and problems of gathering the needed 60 votes to get it passed? I would explain the rush this way.
The sooner it's passed, in final version , the more time before Nov. to forget all about it. As for the 60 needed votes that they finally raised, God only knows the total cost, well maybe God and Reid. It took $300M to buy the vote of the lady senator from Louisiana and a federal take over of medicaid cost for Sen. Nelsons state of Nebraska. This could be called pork but we heard our Leader say no more pork, so it leaves one other defination, call it what it really is - bribe.
Those two expenses add up to a fair piece of change, but how much was spent on the other 58 votes? Anyone want to hazard a guess? If it were Reid's money, fine, but it is taxpayer money and it has to be looked at this way. It's taken from Taxpayers pockets and given to the very people voting for the very thing that a large percentage of them are against. How wrong and crazy is that? Could go on & on but what's the use? Can only hope next Nov. election might change things.
