That was an interesting, even mysterious, story in the online edition of 8/26/2009. The headline said "Rockies blank Warsaw girls."

I grew up in Kosciusko County and Warsaw was the "big town" where we went on Saturday nights, and I graduated from Plymouth. I can still remember what girls are, but what on earth were they playing?

Reading the story doesn't help a bit. Not one word tells us what the sport was. By the score I know it wasn't football. Even though basketball is still all the rage back there, I'm equally sure it wasn't that. Not with single digit scoring.

Maybe ice hockey?
