Hazel Mae Barney Trump, 85, of Pierceton, died at 10:25 a.m. June 6, 2009, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born July 12, 1923, in Larwill, to Ralph and Nellie Roby Barney. On April 21, 1946, in New Haven, she married Charles H. Trump, who died Oct. 19, 2004.
A lifetime Larwill and Pierceton area resident, she worked at Pletchers' Grocery Store, Pierceton, and was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and Devona Circle and the church choir.
Surviving are a son, William C. (and spouse Carol) Trump, Warsaw; three sisters, Betty Lochner and Dorcas Holley, both of Marion, and Harriett Lochner, North Manchester; two grandchildren, Matthew (and spouse Holly) Trump, Warsaw, and Megan (and spouse Travis) Reneker, Pierceton; and two great-grandchildren, Ryne Trump and Zackary Reneker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harlo Barney; and a daughter, Jeanne K. Trump.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Rachel Bales-Case officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
