The Rev. Robert B. and Christenna Haywood, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 28, 2009. The Rev. Robert and the former Christenna Reffitt were married Aug. 28, 1959, in Claypool, with the Chad Burkhart officiating.
He is a retired journeyman mechanic and she is a homemaker.
They have three children: Robert M. (and spouse Annie) Haywood, Amos William "Bill" (and spouse Kathy) Haywood and Ami (and spouse David) Pitt, all of Warsaw; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Their children request the honor of your presence at their golden wedding anniversary celebration and renewing of wedding vows with an open house immediately following at 1 p.m. Aug. 29, at First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, corner of County Farm Road and CR 700S.
They request no gifts but cards would be greatly cherished.
