Hate Crimes

They believe the current justice system does not punish adequately those who break the law and that there needs to be extra penalties for those who commit crime due to hate. They hate crimes against homosexuals.

God hates crime. God is just. God's justice system requires a blood sacrifice for the sacrifice of blood and of sin. Where God and homosexual supporters differ is in that God hates homosexuality. God hates it so much so that he commands the same penalty as for murder. Yet God, in his merciful love, grants forgiveness for the sin of homosexuality if the sinner repents and asks forgiveness for what they have done.

Let's assume my biggest fan, Ms. Lowe, was abducted, brutally beaten and left for dead. Her captor was located, charged and found guilty. He was charged with one year of jail time. Had Lowe been a homosexual, her perpetrator would have received three years in jail for the same crime. Is that equally fair and just?

Homosexual supporters have a problem with God and the Bible, not with me. I am merely a messenger. John the Baptist was beheaded because he exposed the truth that a person should not sleep with their sister-in-law. Do we throw the messenger under the bus? If there is soured milk in the fridge and I know that it is bad, would you expect me to tell you that it's bad or let you drink it? If I let you drink it without warning, would you blame me for not telling you?

The Christian is damned by the world if we tell of the coming judgment, and we are damned by the world if we don't.

Our hope as Christians is that the lost will open their eyes to their wicked ways and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and partake of the joy that God has provided for them. We do not want to see anyone perish. We each have our own choice whether we choose to follow God or follow the wicked ways of the world. When you stand before God for your judgment, what will you say you stood for; God and the Bible or homosexuality and the world? What is your final authority in all matters of faith and practice? If you died today, where would you spend eternity?
