NAPPANEE - Harvey E. Miller, 95, of 7716 W. CR 1100N, Nappanee, died at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 2009, in the residence of his niece and her husband, Miriam and Ura Hochstetler, with whom he resided.

He was born Dec. 9, 1913, in Kosciusko County, to Edward J. and Amanda Slabaugh Miller. On Jan. 29, 1942, he married Mattie H. Yoder, who died Jan. 18, 1968. On Aug. 10, 1969, he married Elizabeth Glick, who died July 6, 2003.

Moving to the Topeka area five years ago, he worked in a trailer factory and was a member of Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are two sons, Glenn Miller, Welston, Mich., and Paul Miller, Niles, Mich.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Tobe Miller, Osceola. He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the David Borkholder residence, 783 Plymouth Goshen Trail with Bishop Noah Borkholder officiating. Burial will be in Borkholder Cemetery.

Calling is all day today at the Ura Hochstetler residence, 7716 W. CR 1100N.
