Harvest Praise At Cook's Chapel

Posted
Cook’s Chapel Church will host the annual Harvest of Praise Saturday at 6 p.m with a free dinner of homemade ham and bean soup, coleslaw and pie.
Following the meal will be a program titled “Where Hero’s Sleep,” presented by John and Eric Lowman.
This is a research project in which they have recorded names and gravesites of Indiana Civil War soldiers. They have been to nearly 1800 cemeteries and collected more than 35,000 names in their 15 year project. The program is a power point with other visuals of the gravesites and the soldiers buried there. They have many interesting stories of soldier’s life, service and fate while in the war as well as facts of the gravestones and cemeteries.
The church is at 4567 W. CR 100S, Warsaw. The public is invited. For more information, call Pastor Earl Futch at 574-268-1082, or John Lowman at 574-491-2999.
