Jerry Hartman visited Pierceton Elementary School to speak with Hilary Hamman's second-grade students about the Pierceton community and how it has changed. Hartman went to Pierceton Elementary School many years ago and was able to share about the history of the Pierceton School. He explained how the original schoolhouse burned down in 1921, and students had to go to school in many of the downtown buildings. The new school house was built in 1923. This is the one that stands today. Students learned that the gym was built in 1929.
