In Friday’s edition of the Times-Union, a story titled “Sentence Meted In Sexual Battery” listed wrong information on the sentencing of Daniel R. Harstine, 45, Syracuse. Because of an error in reporting, Harstine was wrongly reported to have pleaded guilty to a felony. Harstine pleaded guilty to, and was convicted of only, a class B misdemeanor charge. The Times-Union deeply regrets the error and apologizes to Harstine, his family and associates for any hardship or inconvenience the error may have caused.
