CROMWELL - Harry Edward Watson, 90, of Cromwell, died Aug. 27, 2009, in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Auburn, to Thomas Floyd and Frances Agnes Rinihold Watson. On Nov. 12, 1956, in Angola, he married Evelyn Swonger, who died Jan. 17, 2007.
Surviving are three sons, including Larry (and spouse Lee Ellen) Bair, Warsaw; three daughters; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service including a masonic service by members of Cromwell Masonic Lodge F&AM 1705 will be at 7 p.m. today at Ulrey - Renner & Brazzell Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Following the memorial service the West Noble American Legion Post 243 will provide military honors. Burial will be at a later date at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
