Dorris and Mildred Harrold will mark their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 26. Dorris Harrold and Mildred Craig were married Nov. 26, 1942, in the bride's parents' home with the Rev. Dan Slabaugh officiating.
The couple have always lived in the Akron area and ahve lived in the same house for 62 years.
He is a retired farmer, 4-H leader, seed corn salesman and formerly worked at the Steer Inn sale barn. She is a retired school teacher, having taught for 33 years.
The couple have two children, Richard (and spouse Vicki) Harrold, and Sharon and (spouse Dr. Richard) Sommers. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a family dinner.
