Harrison Elementary School’s annual fundraiser raised more than $7,000 this year.
Instead of selling cookies or other items, for the second year the school had a walkathon, utilizing the fitness trail behind the Warsaw school.
Besides walking, dancing or running on the trail for 20 minutes Wednesday, every student in kindergarten through sixth grade also could play on the inflatable slide; learn more about handwashing, kickboxing or nutrition from Kosciusko Community Hospital Wellness Center; or enjoy the music playing.
Pictured is fourth-grade teacher Judy Kinsey walking the trail with some of her students.
