FORT WAYNE – Harriett S. Boggs, 83, passed peacefully with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Rod and Ruth Snyder. She was married to J.D. Boggs, her husband of 56 years, who preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of the Community of Hope Grace Brethren Church. She was a devoted, loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed dearly by all. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (and spouse Rick) Hatfield; a son, James Boggs; a sister, Diane (and spouse Ardle) Page; a brother-in-law, Stewart Kramer; three grandchildren: Melany (and spouse Michael) Love, Jessica (and spouse Johnson) Estep and Cody Hatfield; and the sparkles in her eyes, her six great-grandchildren: Endymion, Bastian, Caspain, Estara, Eldarian and Alastair. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Kramer. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
