NORTH MANCHESTER – Harold M. Lewis, 84, formerly of South Whitley, died June 14, 2013, in Kindred Fairpark Nursing Home, Maryville, Tenn. He was born July 8, 1928 to Elbert and Laura Blocher Lewis. He married Ara Belle Lewis, who survives. He was preceded in death by a wife, Joy Lewis. He was a member of Eel River Lodge 510 F & AM, South Whitley. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey (and spouse Jessica) Lewis, South Whitley; three daughters: Sandra Ruse, South Whitley; Sally Delmer Prater, Sidney; Peggy (and spouse Mike) Henry, Fort Wayne; three stepchildren: Mike Landis, Louisville, Tenn.; Carol Robinson, Maryville, Tenn.; Linda McCosky, Durand, Ill.; two brothers, Ira (and spouse Nancy) Lewis, Claypool, and Bud (and spouse Ethel) Lewis, North Manchester; five sisters: Esther (and spouse Harold) Wrightsman, Silver Lake; Margaret (and spouse Ralph) Montel, Warsaw; Dorothy (and spouse Lee) Marvel, Phoenix, Ariz.; Pat (and spouse Marvin) Brunk, West Alexandria, Ohio; Phyllis (and spouse John) Gove, Spring Hill, Fla. He was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Manchester Bible Church, with Pastor Matthew Staton officiating. Burial will be in Florida.
