Harold Lee Sellers, 81, Pierceton, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at his residence. He was born Feb. 17, 1932, in a log cabin in Monroe Township, Kosciusko County, to Evelyn Pearl (Smith) Sellers and Virgil Verlin Sellers. On Aug. 29, 1951, in Warsaw, he married Freda Belle Shaw, who survives in Pierceton. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and a 1950 graduate of Pierceton High School. He lived in the Etna Green, Pierceton, and Warsaw areas his entire life. He worked for 15 years for Playtime Products. In 1965 he joined his father in business and the company became Sellers and Sons Inc. He sold New Idea Equipment, Oliver, Gehl Equipment, Forage Harvesters, Skid Steer loaders and industrial equipment. In 1987 he started handling White Outdoor Products, Toro and Ariens Lawn Equipment. He retired in 2003. He attended Winona Lake Free Methodist Church. He loved to work with his hands, woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing. He loved to square dance and play cards. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by a son, Brad (and spouse Carol) Sellers, Streator, Ill.; two daughters: Sandy (an spouse Rex) Mauk, Pierceton; and Leigh (and spouse Fred) Watkins, Warsaw; a brother, Jack (and spouse Jessie) Sellers, Pierceton; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Devon and Gerald Sellers, and a sister, Christine Anderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Roland Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
