NORTH MANCHESTER - Harold L. Brandenburg Sr., 59, of North Manchester, died at 3:55 p.m. Aug. 3, 2010, in his residence.

He was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Wabash County, to Harold G. and Ileana M. Fitch Brandenburg. On Nov. 27, 1971, he married Yong Y. Pak, who survives.

He was a quality inspector at OMCO, Pierceton, since 1998. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1968-71. He graduated from Pierceton High School in 1968. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Sidney, where he was a leader in the Grace Brethren Boys Club, where he taught boys about camping, survival and wildlife. He was a former member of American Legion Post 286, North Manchester.

Also surviving are a son, Harold L. Jr. (and spouse Michele) Brandenburg, Warsaw; a brother, Robert Brandenburg, Fort Wayne; three sisters, Bonnie E. Brandenburg and Linda J. (and spouse Mike) Renschler, all of South Whitely; and Kay I. (and spouse David) Caudill, Warsaw; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Ron Sheranko officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
