MENTONE – Harold O. Hile, 82, rural Mentone, died the morning of Jan. 31, 2017, at his residence. He was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Warsaw, to Harold A. and Violet Jones Hile. He married Bonnie Kay Kindig on June 17, 1962, in Warsaw; she survives. He retired from Zimmer, Warsaw, in 1998. He also was in the automobile sales for Bledsoe Buick and Pontiac of Warsaw for 20 years. He was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1953. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hile, Mentone; a daughter, Tami (husband Gary) Keaffaber, Macy; a son, Kris Hile, Mentone; granddaughters: Jennifer (husband Jeff) Meyer, Albion; Kacie Keaffaber, Fort Wayne; and Holly Keaffaber, Macy; and great-grandchildren, Hayley and Drew Meyer. He was preceded by his parents; a sister, Winfred Krietzer; and a brother, Harley Hile. Following Harold’s request, no services are planned. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery.
