Harold D. JohnsonAKRON – Harold D. Johnson, 98, formerly of rural Akron and Chicago, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2021, at Hickory Creek of Rochester.
Harold was born May 28, 1922, in Chicago, to Edward and E. Edna Johnson Johnson. He was married on June 14, 1952, to Margaret Vurum; she preceded him in death in 1988.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945.
A private service will be held at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
