Harmon Sets LCA 3-Point Record In Cougars’ Victory

HAMLET – Jake Harmon set the Lakeland Christian boys basketball career three-point record as the Cougars won 55-47 Friday at Oregon-Davis.
Harmon hit three three-pointers to reach 202 treys, which breaks Josh McDaniels’ previous record of 199.
Braxton Keller pulled down nine rebounds, while Harmon and Landon Paris grabbed five boards each for the Cougars.
LCA’s Landon Twombly tallied five rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Lakeland Christian will play today in a Hoosier Plains Conference game at Trinity-at-Greenlawn.
Wawasee Edged

SYRACUSE – Austin Miller scored 14 points, but the Wawasee boys basketball team lost 42-36 Friday in a home game against East Noble.
Wasasee trailed 11-4 after the first quarter and 29-15 at halftime. The Warriors battled back by outscoring East Noble 16-5 in the third quarter to head into the fourth down three points, but were outscored 8-5 in the fourth quarter for the loss.
Wawasee’s Ethan Hardy scored nine points, while Ali Ali scored a game-high 13 points for East Noble (17-3).
The Warriors (5-15) will close their regular season Friday at Tippecanoe Valley.
