EATON – Hannah M. Taylor, 94, went to be with the Lord March 15, 2013, in Heritage Pointe, Warren, Ind. She was born Sept. 20, 1918, in Brookville, Ohio, to Judson and Stella Kuzak Beck. In 1940, she married Denzil “Huck” Taylor, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Ball State University with both a master’s and doctorate degree. She was a school teacher in Albany for two years and then in Muncie for 22 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Muncie, and belonged to the American Association of University Women and AARP. Surviving are a son, Jerry (and spouse Jan) Taylor; seven grandchildren: Brian Taylor, Chris, Jenna, Scott and Beth Rooney, Trisha Jensen and Lori Lupica; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and 10 sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
