Hanford D. Hall, 77, of Warsaw, died at 9:50 p.m. March 6, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born April 28, 1934, in Tram, Ky., to Norman and Alta Elizabeth Mullins Hall. On April 30, 1955, in Warsaw, he married Etha Mae Rutherford, who died April 24, 2007.

He served in the U.S. Army. Corporal Hanford D. Hall was honorably discharged Sept. 30, 1962. Living most of life in Warsaw, he had multiple jobs at Creighton Brothers for 25 years; owned Hall Construction for 15 years; and was a mechanic for many years at D&R Motors, now 30 West Auto.

He was a member of Warsaw Moose. He was easygoing and light hearted. He never said a bad word about anyone and had no enemies. If you needed him he was always there. He enjoyed gardening and playing his guitar.

Surviving are two daughters, Deanna Mae Bussard, Warsaw, and April Dawn (and spouse Jacob “Jake”) Moore, Loveland, Colo.; a son, Jason Rutherford (and spouse Stephanie) Hall, Warsaw; two sisters, Mildred Jackson, Warsaw, and Ginger Conley, Silver Lake; his lifetime companion, Dixie Miles, Warsaw; 15 grandchildren: Brandy (and spouse Dale) Warrix; Eric (and spouse Dana) and Shana Bussard; Bridgette, Joshua, Zachery, Ashley and Kayla Hall; Jonathon (and spouse Stefanie), Dakota, Shayla, Dillon (and spouse Jordan), Jason Austin and Savannah Yoder; and Amber (and spouse George) Jackson; 10 great-grandchildren: Shaylynn, Hunter, Brooklyn, Ethan, Bryce, James, Graycee, Alycin, Braydon and Jackson. He also was preceded in death by a son, Hanford Wade Hall, who died June 28, 1996; two sisters, Edith Yates and Ruby Lane; and a brother, Paul Hall.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Ronald Patrick, of New Beginning Church and World Outreach, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
