Jerry and Karen Hand, Claypool, marked their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 14. Jerry Hand and Karen Bollinger were married Dec. 14, 1957, at Manchester Church of the Brethren with the Rev. H.F. Richards officiating.
He retired after 36 years at R.R. Donnelley. She works part-time as secretary at Timbercrest Retirement Community.
The couple have two children Kraig (and spouse Becky) Hand, Claypool, and Kris (and spouse Debbie) Hand, North Manchester. They have five grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with their entire family at the Opus 24 Restaurant in Fort Wayne and the Holiday Pops Concert at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne.
