Joe and Karin Hamilton, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Hamilton, Vernon, Conn., to Casey Vetter, Bristol, Conn. The groom's parents are Randy and Dianna Vetter of Decatur.
The bride-to-be is an FT8 marketing coordinator at Partt & Whitney Power Systems, East Hartford, Conn. She is a 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in intrapersonal communication from Ball State University.
The groom-elect is an F119 customer support engineer at Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, Conn. He is a 2001 graduate of Bellmont High School, Decatur and received a bachelor's degree in aeronautical science and aviation management from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, in 2005. In 2008, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, Academy of Military Science, Alcoa, Tennessee. He currently is a maintenance officer in the Air National Guard, stationed at Stewart Air Force Base, Newburgh, N.Y.
