Halloween trick-or-treat hours have been set for Kosciusko County. The third annual Haunted Thrill at Crossom Mill is scheduled for Oct. 24 and 25 and Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Syracuse. Cost is $5. The event is not recommended for anyone under 12. It is hosted by Syracuse Parks Department and Wawasee High School Choir. Spooktacular in downtown Warsaw will be Oct. 24. Registration for the costume contest will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Trick-or-treating with downtown merchants is from 6 to 7 p.m. Costume contest judging will begin at 7 p.m. Spooktacular is sponsored by Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw Community Development Corp., Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, Bowen Center and downtown merchants. Other trick-or-treat hours are: Oct. 31 Silver Lake – 6 to 8 p.m. Etna Green – 5:30 to 7 p.m. Syracuse – 6 to 8 p.m. North Webster – 6 to 8 p.m. Warsaw – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Winona Lake – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Claypool – 6 to 8 p.m. Milford – 6 to 8 p.m. Manchester – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. North Manchester – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mentone – 6 to 7:30 p.m. Costume contest is at 8 p.m. at Mentone Elementary School.
