GOSHEN — Gwendolyn Geraldine Shelestowky Watson, 82, Goshen, formerly of Warsaw and Fort Wayne, died 3:10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Goshen Hospital.  

She was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Joseph and Theodosia Faye Mumcher Shelestowky.  She married Frank Everett Watson on Aug. 20, 1955, in New Market, Ontario, and he died Feb. 5, 2016.

Surviving are a son, Buckley Frank (Laura) Watson, Goshen; daughter, Cynthia Studebaker, Fort Wayne; grandchildren: Bethany, Elizabeth, Kristina, Jason and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Cesar, Alex, Taylor, Mardi, Aryanna and Justice; and a great-great-granddaughter, Evaliyah Lynn.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Frank; grandson, Joshua Watson; and nine siblings.

Gwendolyn worked with her husband, Frank, for their family construction company, Surlock Homes. She was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God, Warsaw, and was an artist and avid gardener.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 5, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service Tuesday, March 6, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.  The Rev. Brenda Sawatzky Paetkau of Eighth Street Mennonite Church will officiate.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
