Gunnin' For FunWith excellent weather Saturday morning, the streets of Silver Lake were packed with people for Saturday morning's parade. These parade participants - which have become a bit of tradition during the annual parade - provide spectators with a cool-down, whether they want it or not. This year's parade, which celebrated the town's 150th year, saw 135 entries, and Marie E. Kerlin was the 2009 grand marshal. Gracee Bussard, Silver Lake, was named the cutie queen and Hayden Parker, Warsaw, was named the cutie king.
