What's the matter, Hively? Got a problem with the Bill of Rights, or is it just the Second that gives you heart burn?Got a little news flash for you, bud. Most of the democrats now in Congress also support the NRA and the Second Amendment. It's why your big-deal Obama hasn't tried for any anti-gun legislation and has even signed a couple meaningless pro-gun bills into law. He's the most anti-gun president in American history, but even he isn't dumb enough to swim against that current right now.
I'm the NRA, Hively, and I'm not some evil empire attempting to bring down this government. I swore an oath a long time ago to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and no one said anything about my being relieved of that upon discharged. I intend to continue as long as I have breath. With or without your help, and whether you like it or not.
Along those same lines, I hope no one is buying Bloomberg's garbage about crime guns. In the first place, he doesn't have 500 mayors. At one time he had around 400 and many of those got out when they found out what he's trying to do.
Also, neither the ATFE or anyone else can track firearms once they leave the original dealer. Few states allow firearms registration, and by the time they're used in a crime there's no way of telling where they came from. It's just rich boy Bloomberg's way of trying to blame his crime problems on someone else. Ditto Menino in Boston and Daley in Chicago. They control the people in their towns. It couldn't possibly be their fault, right?
