Well, now I have a bill number for those of you who don't get one of the magazines or newsletters.
The bill that can prevent you from purchasing or possessing firearms on suspicion only is the Lautenberg bill S. 1237.
This abomination supposedly has the support of the Bush administration and if passed by Congress will be signed by President Bush. This one we have got to get stopped.
I know it seems like a waste of time to call our Senators because they both vote for every piece of gun legislation that comes down the pike. Bayh, because he's a democrat; Lugar, because he's a rhino. But we need to let them know how we feel.
Congressman Souder on the other hand is a very strong supporter of the Second Amendment. We need to melt the phones down on this one.
